Pray for LA: 🔥 Wildfire Update

Hello Beautiful !

🔥 wildfire update:
Wednesday, 8 January 2025,
at 3 PM Pacific time

Well, we went to a hotel last night and I thought I was safe, but the winds changed and the fire spread west and south and now the hotel is in an evacuation warning zone and close to an evacuation zone. When I woke up this morning, the sky was black (this is in the daytime!)

Now, the winds have died down. I came back home to Pasadena where the air is not good and there is ash falling, but it’s better than at the hotel.

The fire is still 0% controlled, and now over 10,600 acres. This afternoon I watched sky cam footage of my old neighborhood in Altadena and the houses were just smoldering dust. 😭This is where I lived when I first moved to California. Very hard to watch. But even worse for the people who live there now.
May be an image of fire and text

If you know you know. (And I know some of you live here, have lived her and have friends and family here…)

This beautiful pink mansion (in pic above, on the right) is an icon in Altadena. It is always decorated so beautifully at Christmas driving by. It is a highlight for lots of us. Apparently, the nearby Christmas Tree Lane was destroyed. 💔 Foxes restaurant, Everest, Side Pie, Altadena Hardware, Ale House and more, all gone. The social services organization Giant Steps, Theosophical Books & Library, and the Bank of America near the corner of Marcheta Street.

It’s been nice to be at home and get something to eat and connect with my neighbors and see how people are. Some people have already left and others like me are waiting a little later in the day, but have made alternate plans to see how things go…

Anyway. I have a new hotel reservation for tonight through Saturday morning. The latest news says we’re going to have another significant windstorm on Friday so we’re nowhere near done with all this, especially since none of the fires are contained at all.

I’m waiting for a press conference at 4 PM to see what the forecast is for the winds tonight. They’re now saying that embers from the fire can jump as far as 5 miles and I am 4 1/2 miles from where the fire started. I feel concerned about our neighborhood and about our building.

Thank you for all your notes. I have read them all. I can’t respond them individually, but please know I am appreciating them and I very much appreciate your support. And those of you who are doing energy and light work, sending prayers and grace, etc. thank you so much.
We need to get through the rest of this week. 💗

If you would please, continue to work your magic.

Pray for LA. Pray that the fires and winds stop. Pray for the firefighters and all of those evacuating, pray for the wildlife looking for safety. Pray for safety and protection, and for no one else to be harmed.

Love,
Ailia
