Dear friend,

I want to share something with you today about forgiveness.

I know that might bring up some feelings right now…

Maybe there’s someone who comes to mind…

Someone you haven’t been able to forgive yet.

But I want you to know…

Forgiveness isn’t always about a person.

Sometimes it’s yourself you need to forgive.

For a choice you made…

Something you said that you wish you could take back…

Or maybe it’s an experience you’re holding onto.

A timeline that didn’t go the way you wanted…

Even a belief about yourself…

That was never true.

Forgiveness isn’t for them.

It’s for You.

When we hold onto what someone did to us…

We think we’re protecting ourselves.

But we’re just keeping that pain alive inside.

Fear isn’t the Enemy…

It’s just energy that’s starving for Love.

When we let ourselves feel it…

It moves through us.

But when we push it away…

It gets stuck.

And over time it expands.

This extra burden we carry around every day…

Keeps us from feeling everlasting Peace.

Good things can’t reach us when we’re holding onto all that.

You see…

To for-give literally means to give forth.

And the moment we forgive…

We’re not saying what happened was okay.

Instead…

We’re unburdening ourselves.

Choosing Freedom over the story that’s been keeping us trapped.

And in that space we create…

Love returns…

We start remembering who we really are.

Right now…

This is the perfect time to free ourselves from the burdens and heaviness in our hearts.

To make space for what wants to come through.
