As Divine Changemakers on a spiritual path, this year’s Wesak carries an elevated importance. We sit at a historic crossroads – chaos and uncertainty now our new norm.
Wesak – connected to the enlightenment potential of all beings – is now more important than ever before!
Our role is to stand out front, showing others the way – and our actions reminding them that their true nature is Divine and infinite.
If you’re like me, some days are easier than others to stand out front. On such days, we must rise above the temptation to react and instead connect with expanded levels of spiritual wisdom and energies. Wesak is part of our antidote, as I’ll describe below.
May Energy Opportunities And Wesak
As I wrote about last week, May is full of energy opportunities that can help us move forward.
Wesak is like the frosting on the cake! During Wesak Season – mid-April to mid-June, the veils between dimensions are thinner and it can be easier to access higher awareness and helpful energies from enlightened beings (e.g. Kuan Yin, Christ, Buddha) that previously walked the Earth.
About Wesak
The name Wesak originates in Tibet, where there is an etheric Wesak Valley. Historically this place has been associated with annual gatherings of enlightened beings. At the annual Wesak meditations I have facilitated since 2000, part of our process is an auspicious journey to the Wesak Valley – high in the Himalayas of Tibet.
I can’t wait for Saturday’s Wesak meditation and our journey to this sacred Wesak Valley!
For background, Wesak is NOT about religion. The focus is the enlightenment of all beings. We celebrate some who became enlightened, but let’s not put them on a pedestal, thinking we are less than. These beings simply showed us the way to become enlightened ourselves. Each of us is wired from birth to become fully enlightened in some lifetime. No exceptions.
5 Ways To Tap Wesak Season Energies
- During your inner work, invite in Wesak blessings available during Wesak Season.
- Tap Wesak energies and insights during dream time by inviting them before sleep.
- Ask your Higher Self to connect you with an enlightened being of your choosing – requesting assistance with a key concern you have.
- Contemplate enlightened qualities (e.g. compassion, mindfulness, equanimity, wisdom, freedom of heart) – invite a knowing of how you can further develop one or more of these qualities.
- Attend our Wesak and Post Wesak meditations on Zoom for tangible experiences with enlightened beings we celebrate at Wesak. Work with the meditation recordings afterwards for more experiences and insights.
