September’s energies are illuminating the intricate dance of power that often spirals out of control, particularly in the realms of big business and government. This period serves as a mirror, reflecting our inner landscapes where these societal structures reside. Continue reading for background and specific remedies for navigating the next several weeks.
Background
Most people understand Mercury Retrograde, with its time of review and reset. Pluto Retrograde back into Capricorn this month has a similar theme – this one catalyzing an even deeper shake-up for the next couple of months as it illuminates the dark side of power in our society.
The good news: November 19 Pluto moves into the sign of Aquarius until 2044! During that time in Aquarius, society will have an opportunity to radically transform how power is used in the outer world. Simultaneously, on a personal level, each of us will be transforming out of the longstanding ego-power model and into Divine power. Let’s celebrate that!
Navigating These Energies
As we navigate this transformative time—one that will remain prominent until mid-November—it’s crucial to not only grasp the overarching themes at play but also to arm ourselves with practical strategies for engagement.
Embracing this journey with an open heart and mind allows us to tap into the potential for personal and collective growth, empowering us to rise above challenges and emerge as catalysts of change. After all, we are Divine Changemakers! So, let’s dive deeper into this exploration together!
Here are 3 tips for making the most of this cycle in your personal life.
First, know that the planet Pluto is in your astrological birth chart. It represents death, rebirth, and mega transformation. Anytime you feel like you’ve had a major awakening or consciousness shift, Pluto likely was involved! Pluto represents life lessons, unfinished business, metamorphosis, and a revelation of your shadow self.
In my 1-1 Astrology Sessions with clients, we look at the placement of Pluto and life issues. Themes that can come up include grief, family secrets, guilt, unresolved anger, and resentment.
Second, do your best to avoid taking life personally when in a Pluto retrograde. Anything that you need to look at and transform must be viewed impersonally. Otherwise, you could make the issue more than it is or spend endless hours ruminating. All of us humans have Pluto issues – relax, offer up your anxiety about seeing deeply, and let the Universe guide you through the process.

Third, I suggest that you avoid obsessive watching of the news during this cycle. You want to be informed, of course – but a heavy dose of negativity and ruminating about it – will prevent you from having the inner peace you need to make a difference in the world. Knowing the basics of what is unfolding in your outer world is one thing – focusing relentlessly on what disturbs you is a needless depletion of your vital energy.
