Dear ones, you can honor your Mother Earth by refraining from the many small wars that rage in your own lives. You can refrain from attacking yourself or belittling others. You can refuse to dignify senseless arguments with your participation.
You can end the war with your junk drawer by cleaning it out, or the war with traffic every morning on your way to work. You can end the war with your wrinkles or those few extra pounds. You can end the war with opposing political parties, or the person in your life who was most unkind.
We are not suggesting that you give up wanting greater kindness and love. We are not telling you to invite your nemesis to tea! We are simply suggesting that you stop battling life and start focusing on what you want and what you like.
We pray that you allow yourself the peace of a powerful presence in a forward-focused life, rather than tethering yourself to all that you dislike. If you want peace on earth, dear ones, start by choosing peace within your own mind and heart, peace within your life, and then peace within your own sphere of influence.
If enough of you choose to end the countless miniature wars you have throughout the day, the larger ones would run out of energy much sooner.
Every time you choose love over hate, congratulate yourself. You have just contributed to world peace.
Every time you love yourself enough to feel your feelings and love yourself through them, you have chosen to release the pressures on the earth.
Every time you refrain from criticizing yourself or another, you have dropped one less bomb.
Dear ones, the power to end wars begins within your own mind, heart, and body. Even if you cannot immediately create world peace, you can end the smaller wars in your daily lives.
