Hello Beautiful
Today was HARD!
So much cruelty. So much grief.
I was deeply moved by the open-heartedness of my friends as we held space for one another.
And I can’t stop thinking: How do we do something about this life-threatening, sickening assault on our Latino neighbors?
This terrifying expansion of the ICE budget. (fuck!!!!!)
And there is so much more. As someone living with chronic illness, I know that disabled people, poor people, elderly people, self-employed people will all find it much harder to get healthcare coverage and service, and I am deeply concerned.
It’s A LOT.
I channeled a live event today as part of the Boundless Love series, and I’m thankful for that. It really nourished me so deeply to be in that energy and flow and translate it with others.
And here’s what I’m remembering:
When we stay present with ourselves—
when we don’t abandon our own heart, but instead stay soft and open, then our energy can flow.
Allowing empowers coherence.
Staying with ourselves generates inner harmony. Which lifts us up.
So much so that even in moments like this, we can be a presence of peace within the insanity.
Connected to All That You Are—your Divine Self, your full being—you radiate peace, love, spaciousness even.
Not a forced calm, but a steady, truthful presence.
Your peace becomes a quiet stabilizing field. An oasis.
Even when you say or do nothing. Others feel that.
It’s love. It’s honesty. It’s a reminder of truth as embodiment.
It gives others permission. It invites us to stay present. To feel. To soften. To not push away what we’re experiencing.
Presence is medicine. For ourselves and others.
How are you doing? What’s helping you most right now? What do you need?
If you feel called, hit reply — I’d really love to hear.
With you in spirit, and with love,
P.S. For those who don’t know, today the U.S. House passed Trump’s “big, beautiful bill”—a sweeping package that slashes healthcare, food assistance, and school support while adding roughly $3.5 trillion to the deficit.
It also allocates unprecedented funding to ICE, making it the largest federal law enforcement agency in U.S. history, with a budget now surpassing even the FBI.
California Governor Gavin Newsom put it bluntly:
“17 million people just lost health care. 18 million kids just lost school meals. 3 million Americans just lost food assistance. And $3.5 trillion was added to the deficit.”
Moments after the vote, House Republicans celebrated on the chamber floor by blasting “Y.M.C.A.” and dancing. Absolutely sickening.
The shadow is on full display. 🙄
So is our capacity to be there for each other and be a presence of love and wholeness in the world. More soon.
More soon.
Take good care — you matter. ✨💖
