Example Script to Use When Calling a House Armed Services Committee (Congress) Member:
“Hello, my name is [Your Name], and I’m calling about the critical issue of Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP). May I leave a message for Representative [Elected Official’s Name]?”
(Await response from the staffer, which may include a confirmation or an inquiry about your status as a constituent.)
“Thank you. I understand that the NDAA negotiations are currently underway, and Representative [Elected Official’s Name] plays a vital role in these discussions. I strongly urge Representative [Elected Official’s Name] to support the inclusion of the UAP Disclosure Act in the NDAA for Fiscal Year 2024.
This Act, particularly its provision for a civilian review board, is essential for ensuring transparent and unbiased oversight in UAP disclosures. It represents a significant step towards restoring public trust and promoting government accountability on UAP matters. Your support for this Act is crucial for advancing transparency and understanding in this important area.”

House Armed Services Committee Member Handles to Tag on X/Twitter:
We are forwarding this message from Steve Bassett as a second way to get involved: “The reconciliation process between the Senate and House versions of the UAP Disclosure Act begins on Monday. If you want this act to remain in the bill with little or no changes, you need to let members of Congress know. The most effective way to do this is Twitter tagging. Here’s why.
When you include a member’s Twitter handle (tagging) in a message, the message immediately shows in their notifications. A staffer is assigned to keep track of these tagged messages. If anything notable turns up, they simply suggest the member check them out – a quick scroll.
Using copy/paste it is easy to tag the same message to a hundred members in a very short time. But there are other advantages. Your tagged message goes up on your page to be seen by all who drop by. The message also turns up on the feed of those you are following who can retweet and share that message. Each tagged message helps generate more messages. There’s no time to waste, so let the tagging begin.”
