Learn to Connect The Dots
Hello friends,
Today I’d like to give you an expanded way to look at yourself and key relationships. For most of us, year-end is a time when we reflect on relationships playing a significant role in our lives. As you continue reading, I invite you to consider enlarging your view of the people and relationship dynamics that come into your mind.
Why Is This Important?
Your ability to bring the light of your soul into manifestation is directly related to your connections with others.
There is a divine orchestration involved – your encountering specific people and relationship dynamics that catalyze your self-growth and going deeper with yourself. This is how you learn and become whole. For the other person involved in your dance of transformation, you provide the vehicle for their soul’s learning.
Oftentimes it can feel accidental to be in a personal or business relationship with someone. It may feel quite unwelcome, your ego-self wishing for an end – or perhaps a quick learning of whatever lesson is there. Sound familiar?
At other times, you may totally embrace the connection and see it as a gift from the universe. Despite this, life happenstance can suddenly change your status quo with the person.
When You Are Tested
Consider that you are being tested in all of these examples of divine orchestration. The testing is not punitive but your soul’s way of helping you self-evolve. Your ego-self, if you listen to it, will do its best to delay your learning and self-growth.
Understanding this dynamic, it serves you to question more deeply than surface appearances. It’s in your best interest to contemplate questions like I’ll list below – to help you connect dots that often are veiled or simply not obvious.
5 Questions to Help You Connect The Dots
- How is the challenging dynamic I have with X person similar to that I have or have had with someone else?
- What about this difficulty with X person feels karmic, like I’ve experienced this before in other times and places?
- When X person cannot see my point of view, what can I say or do differently in order to build a bridge with them?
- Why – beyond what I already understand – is this challenging dynamic continuing, and why is it taking so long to resolve?
- Who are the other people directly or indirectly involved in this relationship challenge – and what do I need to learn from seeing these connections?
Deep Questions Require Going Deep
Deep questions like these above require that you go deep. Don’t rush the process, going with the first insight that comes to you. Meditate on these questions.
